Hi, I have some questions regarding departing from the US. I enter the US on a F-1 student visa. However I had to drop out of the school sometime ago. After then I stayed in CA though my visa expaired. Can I return to my country voluntarily? What will happen to me if I try to leave the US? Will I be detained at the airport if I try to leave the US?

No, the US are always very happy to see people leave.
