Hi,
My wife currently has a green card and is a conditional permanent resident (I am a US citizen). Last weekend she got a traffic ticket with a minor criminal (not civil) violation. The crime was attaching a plate issued to another car onto her car, but basically it has a maximum fine of $100 and a possible jail time of at most 10 days. She has concerns that a conviction might cause problems later when we apply to have her conditonal status removed. Personally I think she's crazy, but I can't find any information about what the INS will review before removing the conditonal status from her permanent residence. Please help me someone, before she drive me nuts.
