Conditions of Probation (interesting case)

I was convicted last year of a non-drug related offense, I served 10 consecutive weekends and was ordered to probation.

I've read somewhere and was also told that the drug-test condition does not apply to all cases and can be ameliorated or suspended if the defendant does not show high risk for future drug use. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm not exactly as dumb as you take me for... I don't think that would be a wise choice, I was just wondering if anyone had any insight in to the whole matter.. But I guess you're as clueless as me... moving right along.
