I've had a dog for 1yr and 2mos. From day one she has been tied to a 10' leash from inside the garage. Three days ago I received a letter stating I was in violation of the condo rules and regulations and am subject to a $50/day fine. Other pet owners have not received notification letters for the same and other (not picking up waste; unleased) pet rules. The rules and regulations state that we are unable to tie out pets in common areas and limited common areas (porch, deck, patio) are specifically mentioned - nothing about garages. The dog is NEVER left unattended while outside. Am I in violation? Why am I all of a sudden in violation? thanks for any insight.
PS -- I'm moving within the next few weeks but don't want to have the deal with this issue while trying to coordinate moving.
