Since the house we rent, has no garage.I'm forced to conduct
all my repairs on the driveway. On several occassions, the driveway got stained. The landlord approached me,stating I was not allowed to conduct such activities on his driveway.
Mind you,we have no writte or verbal agreement regarding this matter. Now his exscuse has changed several times since
then.He even resorted to applying a seperate fee on his d-way.Can someone pls tell me if he(landlord),is legally allowed to dictate what can be done on his driveway?

are you people DENSE?

do you have a lease?

If you dont the landlord CAN dictate anything he wants with a 30 day notice, even to evict you.

With a lease the answer is NO he cant.....

BUT he WILL charge you to have the driveway professionaly cleaned after you move and take it out of your security depoist...that is legal!

Cheaper rental or Better car

Yes, landlord RULES. Don't conduct any "hazardous" activity at the property including working on your car. Get a better car or cheaper rental.
