Confidential info getting out

I live in Florida. About 4 years ago I failed a random drug test at work for marijuana and was put on probation. Never failed another one and ended up leaving the company January of 2019. I recently got a call from a guy I worked with telling me another person in management told him I failed my drug test during that random 4 years or so ago. I’ve never once mentioned it to anyone as it’s pretty embarrassing but someone in the company must have let it out and now it’s spreading around with the possibility of ruining my reputation. Do I have any recourse?

Is there anything being said that is false? "True but embarrassing" and "false" are two different concepts.

Being said to have used marijuana four years ago is hardly the type of talk that ruins reputations.
