What is the name of your state? California
We signed a Settlement Agreement w/ General Releases with my mother-in-law. She & the attorneys also signed two weeks ago. We have since been told by my mother-in-law that she has let three people read the agreement in full. We supect three more have also read it. The agreement has a Confidentiality provision (broilerplate) under the General Provisions. The persons she has shown the agreement to are persons we don't want or need to be in our business. Do we have legal recourse against her and/or her attorney?

My response:

Prove it.

No. You still have to show damages to have a claim. The mere act of violating confidentiality does not do anything for you.
