What is the name of your state?Florida
I live in Palm Bay Florida, which is on the east coast. Anyway, I am married with 6 kids, three girls, three boys. The youngest boy just turned 1. Well, my neighbor is always claiming my otherstwo boys(one or the other) ages, 6 and 9 are doing things to her property. She stopped talking to me about 3 or 4 years ago because she said my kids "peeled the bark off her palm trees" Can you believe that? What had happened was that the guy who mows her lawn did it because the bark peels naturally as the tree grows. I defended my childred and even called to tell her what her mow man said. She has never apologized, and is continually spyng on us and trying to get us in trouble with the city. She recently gave my boys a paper bag with a small dead bird in with instuctins to give it to me. She said my cat killed the bird and she had to fish it out of her pool (she also gave my boys two small candy bars too, weird or what/!) She claims I "poisoned" some kind of bush she had planted right at the border of her property and my driveway. I don't kill peopl'es plants or anything else. The plant died because it was in a bad spot with bad soil and it hadn't rained for a long time. Now, she says she's "going to get a lawyer" over a $65.00 bill she had to pay for her shutter to get fixed. She claims she:"heara a noise" , but didn't look outside. Then about 2 weeks later she told my husband about it (she will only talk to him, or my sister if she catches them in the driveway). My husband fixed the spring in about a minute. Now she says my boys broke it and wants us topay for it. If I know my kids did something wrong, that's one thing, but this is redicuous! I am so paranoid now, my kids are afraid to play out front. Does her case have a chance? and does anyone have any ideas on how I can deal with this woman. By the way, she's 72 years old, a widow, living alone, except when her daughters visit. PS. She is telling them and everyone else she meets about how terrible my kids are and they are not terrible. HELP1
