What is the name of your state? AZ
So I am working for a Casino in AZ for 4 years. Feeling like my manager was not loyal I decided to submit my resume to other companies. I retained a different position at a different company and during the interview I clearly stated 2 requirements, loyalty and honesty. After 3 months I began to feel uneasy as if I were out of some sort of loop per say. At 4 months my position was "eliminated" even though I had not recieved any disciplinary actions against me and others had. What can I do? It put me in a spot. If I would have known it would have been gone in 4 months I would not have resigned my previous position:confused:

"What can I do?"
*** Unless you had an employment contract, there is nothing you can do.
Simply, you were an 'at will' employee which means that you can quit or be terminated without any reason.

My response:

Nope. 95% of the workforce leaves one job for another. That still doesn't vitiate the fact that Arizona is an "at-will" employment State.

You didn't have a contract for a specific term of employment; and you could quit, and they could fire you, at any moment, and for no reason whatsoever.
