Have Florida Workers Comp case. Been in litigation for two years. I am unable to work. My counsel called today to say that opposing counsel has agreed to settle, allowing me the maximum the court would alow of 102 weeks of wages lost, plus make my injuries compensible. In addition they will pay all my Attorney fees and costs. Problem is my counsel says I will only recieve 34000.00. My yearly income was $38,500.00. I have not recieved a dime from anybody since the accident. Shouldn't I recieve $77,000.00? He says he knows it doesn't make sense, but that's the way it is?
