well i am 16 years old and my boyfriend is 17, i am in foster care at the moment and should be going home sometime soon next year. i might be pregnant and I have a few questions. what can happen to the baby if they find out i am? can they keep me and my boyfriend away from each other? can i get sent away or stay in foster care longer? if i go to the doctors to get a blood test and do the monthly checkups that are needed for the baby with my mom can the doctors tell my foster parents or case workers if i ask to keep it confidential?

I hope for your boyfriend's sake that you were 16 when the baby was conceived. Otherwise, he committed a felony.

As for the rest, your parents and/or foster parents have the right to keep anyone they want away from you until you're 18. Whether you're pregnant or not doesn't matter - they have the right to control who you associate with. And don't think of hiding your pregnancy - doing so may be very harmful for the baby.

I can only assume that the poster has lost her manners and any sense of decorum.

Poster, try again. This time, express yourself as a person who wishes to be taken seriously in a legal setting.
