What is the name of your state?Michigan

I am having problems with a neighbor who is running all of their rainwater off their buildings and directly onto my property. This is causing damage to the grass as well as preventing me from using it. In all, it is about an acre or two that is always underwater or too wet to do anything with. I spoke to our township supervisor who said it was against a law regarding "consolidating water on another's property". Is there such a law, and if so how should I proceed. Thanks in advance for any response.

This sounds like a local ordinance; I doubt that it would help you. It might fine Mr. Waterspout, but it wouldn't help you.

What YOU need to do is get a good real estate attorney.

You don't want this joker to be developing some kinds of rights on YOUR land by his actions.
