we live in north carolina and filed 13 last year, spouse got sick and we cant keep up our pymnts, our attrny said we could either file 7 or let them foreclose, these are things we can replace later but need to know the process on forclosures and how much time we have to vacate after we have been served official papers, we dont want all our belongings taken away as in furniture, ect. we have not gotten notice yet and we are behind about two or three months. any help from anyone knowing anything about foreclosures would be greatly appreciated.
