i reside in colorado, i purchased a used engine from a company with offices in colorado, and home office in california.
the engine was warrantied for parts for 2 years/24,000 miles.
I have had to replace the engine 3 times and have less than 1,000 miles on the auto.
each time i have to replace the engine i pay labor and misc. parts. which ranges from $1,000 to $2,300. (it has cost me over $6,500 in labor and misc. cost)
in addition to cost of repairs i've incurred over $600. in tow charges and greyhound bus tickets.
the last engine lasted for 3 miles. before it threw a rod.
in every instance the company has replaced the engine, but refused to pay labor or other costs.
at what point is this considered consumer fraud, and the company is required to satisfy labor and misc. costs?
