What is the name of your state?Harrassment Help???
I live in the state of Delaware and purchased some medication from an online pharmacy about two years ago. After about six months the company began calling us to sell more meds. We asked not to be bothered any further. Since then they have insisted on calling on a regular basis at a minimum of three times a day two to four times a week. They call my wife at work on the cell phone and at home at all times as late as 10:15 PM and on Sundays. We have documented the names of the people we have asked to remove us from thier call list but to no avail. These people have no morals and don't stop and seem to just call to harrass. Today they called again and my wife just flipped on me saying if I don't get them to stop we are going to get a divorce.
Please is there any legal recourse or means of making them stop??

you are an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

:( Gee whiz how damm difficult is it for you to call the phone company and have the number changed and have it unlisted. any moron would have thought of that one first.

You Must Be An Idiot To Have To Make A Reply As This. I Have Had My Phone Number For Ten Years And As Such Don't Feel I Should Have To Go To These Extents Just To Have My Privacy. Now As A Moron And An Idiot I Believe That This Is Why The Feds Passed A Law Called The No Call List Which I Have Posted Thier Number To No Avail. So I Guess According To You Who Must Be So Smart That These People Should Be Able To Harass And Interefere With Our Lives With No Consequences.???? Thanks For Your Reply But If You Can't Provide One That Is Intelligent Please Keep Your Stupidy To Yourself. Perhaps You Need To Look Into Your Mirror And See Who Is Stupid!!!

If you requested they do not call you and they are not honoring that request then file a complaint with the FTC at https://www.donotcall.gov/Complain/ComplainCheck.aspx

From the FTC website:

"My number is on the National Do Not Call Registry. After I bought something from a company, a telemarketer representing that organization called me. Is this a violation?

No. By purchasing something from the company, you established a business relationship with the company. As a result, even if you put your number on the National Do Not Call Registry, that company may call you for up to 18 months after your last purchase or delivery from it, or your last payment to it, unless you ask the company not to call again. In that case, the company must honor your request not to call. If they subsequently call you again, they may be subject to a fine of up to $11,000.

An established business relationship with a company also will be created if you make an inquiry to the company, or submit an application to it. This kind of established business relationship exists for three months after the inquiry or application. During this time, the company can call you.

If you make a specific request to that company not to call you, however, then the company may not call you, even if you have an established business relationship with that company."

So much for the value of the "Do not call" registry. Funny how the government always seems to screw up the most simple concepts.

Get caller ID and either don't answer, or just lift/push and hang up instantly.

Or....when they call, set the receiver down and let them babble as long as they want. It costs them $$$ to blather on while you go back to your business.

Or...hit the return call code and call them back, leaving them hanging.

Better yet, find out where there phone room is, tell the next caller you are watching his car in the parking area, and that you have someone waiting to "introduce himself to you when you get off your shift". Most of these hacks are boiler room ops who get commissions just for getting a response. Tell them you're gonna make it NOT worth their time.

Have fun.

if you are not willing to change your phone number then don't bitch when you get calls that simple buzzard butt. by the way the call registry doesn't apply in this case because a company you have done business with can call.
I am smarter than you because I don' t put up with people harrassing me on the phone. by the way no one is forcing you to answer the phone. can't you read the caller id einstein.

You do need to change your number. You guy's ordered this from God know's where, and if they are out of country, They will simply keep calling.

Now As A Moron And An Idiot I Believe That This Is Why The Feds Passed A Law Called The No Call List Which I Have Posted Thier Number To No Avail. The secret of this, is that you post YOUR own number on the DNCL, not theirs.

Stupid, is someone NOT putting themselves on the DNCL. The problem here, is that you bought drugs, And Mexico,(Taking a Wild Guess), does not legally have to abide bye the DNCL. So again, change your number, or keep complaining.

Thanks for your help, we will see how efficiently the DNCL and its complaint department works. Have a good day.

Of course we are the same people. Change your number and stop the added drama in your life. You obviously thrive on it. Anger managment might also be a good course of action for you, since you have a hard time controlling your mouth.

Good luck with all that.

OH! And you are yelling.

If you think your wife is threatening divorce because of the phone calls, you are sadly mistaken. After reading your posts here, it sounds like you've got way more problems than telemarketers.
