Hello

My name is Steve Wells. I recently broke up with my partner. We were together for several years, she had a daughter. The daughter and i bonded well, so much so she felt like my own.

After the split, Emily, the 13 year old daughter ran away from her mother and came to me. She want to live with me and complained about being abused by mother (beaten). I reported this to the police. They came and took her away from my address and back to mother.

Several days later Emily arrived again, the police were informed after several days of her staying at my address and then she was collected by the police and taken home to mother. She was beaten again, mother taken in to hospital for psychatric help.

Emily was taken into foster care. Not happy there she came for a third time to my address. I didnot inform the police for several days, and they arrived. Emily was taken away, and i was arrested and charged with child abducion.

The fact that emily felt comfortable in my company was not taken into consideration in court, i was imprisoned and spent 1 week in a catagory A jail. My solicitor managed formy release and now on have 12month probation.

What disgusts me is that sexual activity between the two of us was implied, even though none had occured, and Emily was subjected to an examination. She was confirmed still to be a virgin. What / who could do this to a 13 year old. This will stay with her for the rest of her life.

Now, i am not allowed to even know her address. This upsets me deeply and i know would Emily too. I am trying to locate her, my solicitor is trying to help but does anyone know what else i can do.

Please help us.

Steve Wells
