I live in PA. My ex filed a Petition for a Contempt Adjudication. I did not do the things he is accusing me of and I do not want a lawyer to represent me because I can't afford one. What can I do, what are the proceedures? Do I have to use a lawyer?

C'mon, let us know what kind of accusations he's made, and maybe you can get an intelligent response.

Remember, he can't just make accusations; he has to prove them.

He say's I am using the children as messengers & I don't allow open communication. That's it. He is paying a lawyer to take me to court over this. Frankly I have offered more time with the kids, additional weekends + more vacation time and he has refused them. I know this is all crap, but will the judge??? I really don't want to receive a fine by the court when all I receive is child support.
