What happens when you are in contempt of court for visitation?

Well the laws in each state are different, there are a number of options available to the court the least of which not being you lose custody of the child and the parent you are denying visitation to then has custody and you are the one fighting the court for the right to exercise visitation with your child.
You can be fined, you can be jailed and you could be put on probation.
