In the decree, my ex was ordered to make all payments on the property (ex stayed in house) and to maintain the property. Ex was also ordered to sell and assets were to be divided. This has not happened (4 years) - several times the ex defaulted on the mortgage...was found in contempt for doing so.

Now, ex remarried, bought luxury autos, new home, etc. and is planning to file for bankruptcy and abandon the property. I do not want a bankruptcy on my credit report, and I do not know how to handle this...advice? Ex has plenty of income...can I contest the bankruptcy?

Ex was supposed to get $$ from my 401K. His lawyer did not file the QDRO. Two years later, I took the whole 401K out and thought the ex's funds had been transferred as I had signed the QDRO and there were considerable losses on the account. I am in contempt of court on this - does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this? Can you site legal references for me to look up? Do I still have to pay the ex?
