What is the name of your state?CO

Contempt of Court was denied by the magistrate, said we do not have any order via the date that was put on the contempt paperwork. That was submitted last week. We have a lawyer now, can she RE- SUBMIT it?

I think you really need to provide more information, 'cause that doesn't make a lot of sense.

Redo on Question

OK, more information... sorry.

I was supposed to have the girls for 6 weeks solid, instead of two 3 week periods. I had the kids for the first 3 week period and then on July 24th, when I went to pick up the kids, the ex did not come... We filed a contempt motion, and aparently did it wrong.

The parenting time that we were supposed to have was a written agreement signed and notorized, but it was not the order that the Magistrate signed, because I was doing the ex a favor in changing the time when I had my kids.

I guess my question was, since I did the first contempt paperwork wrong, can my lawyer re file another contempt charge against her, or was that my only chance. Does it make sence now?
