Contest prizes??

Sorry, but I'm not sure where to post this topic. Is there any way to hold an online company accountable for cash prizes won on their site but not paid. My name has been posted on this site for 3 months as winning prizes in a contest but the company has not paid the prize.

Sue them in small claims court for breach of contract, in that they are getting benefit from using your name on their site but haven't paid you. The question is whether you'll be able to sue them in your county. It's a matter of personal jurisdiction under the long-arm statute. Be sure to make printouts of the web site periodically, showing your name & the daate you 'won'.
