What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

My son was a micro-preemie that resulted in various disabilities. He is 4 currently. We had a review ( medical) in 2015 and we had a lawyer as they tried to take him off SSI at that time. After the hearing all was well. In September 2016 we received a letter for a redetermination ( financial/resources). I completed the phone interview with a worker and I received a copy of the review however never received a notice saying it was completed. I then was informed that his case was moved to another worker and I would need to complete the review with her. This was in December of 2016. That phone interview took place, some changes were made and I was told the review was complete and my son would be receiving a slightly lower amount which began in January 2017. I would also receive a letter regarding an overpayment. Flash forward until now, March of 2017 I have not received an overpayment letter so I called the local office and spoke to the worker who completed his review. She said that the letter was not mailed yet and she would get it out however I was up for review again and she gave me the phone interview date which is in the beginning of April. I asked her how that was possible when I just completed one with her not even two months prior and nothing has even changed. Theoretically this is the third phone interview in the past 6 months. Does this ever happen? Or is there a reason for this? I was wondering if people are selected randomly or did the overpayment trigger another review. I am just frustrated to have to once again go through answering the same questions again two months later. Are they trying to kick him off?? So confusing. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank You!

Unfortunately appealing in the FO level decisions can be very frustrating, time consuming, and the same information submitted over and over and then when you think your finally done, the original question comes up again. I have been arguing with SSI decisions since 2014, but don't give up, do as they request and when they request it because believe me they can get worse if you refuse to continue the same thing over and over. I just filed a new application after a 6 month suspension for not complying to their request and then after 6 months on suspension I was terminated without even a notice. I was going into the FO because they wanted to help me get reinstated in their letters giving them certified and original documents and told every thing looked good so I should receive a letter within two weeks of the final decision. When that doesn't come and I go back to find out the status another worker claims they can't find any documents in the system that I submitted wanting it all done over again. After my move to TX frpm CA I find out from the local FO my file is terminated months ago and no longer on suspension. So I feel your frustration but just hang in and try to do as they request, it could definitely get worse. There is very little you can do and they know that.:confused:
