Contract Cancellation Due to Move

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Maryland
I recently moved to Georgia from Maryland and attempted to transfer my home security to my new residence. I was told the company does not service my new residence area. Since I have 7 months remaining on my Maryland contract, am I obligated to pay since the company does not service my new area of residence?

Also look for a cancellation fee that might be less than paying for the next 7 months.
