I am a Canadian, work in a Canadian Branch but my corporate HQ is in the untied States.

I was just looking over the first contract I signed and I noticed it said I would be paid $50,000.00 per pay period. This contract was signed by me and the manager and submitted to headoffice. Since then I have signed 2 other contracts.

Would I have a case to recoup unpaid wages as per my contract. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Since you are working in Canada, Canadian law, not US law, would apply here. If you're unethical enough to try to take advantage of such an obvious error, let the Canadian courts deal with you.

cbg is correct - Canadian law applies here. You need to take your contract to a lawyer and have him/her initiate a lawsuit against your employer. I have no idea whether you'll win; the lawyer will be better able to tell you this. However, I do know that your employer may legally fire you for initiating a frivolous lawsuit (I am in Canada and know what of I speak).
