My name is brett I live in ut i consigned on a loan with my wife.Since then we have divorced and she has defalted on the loan.NCO the creditor is now coming after me, learning that my ex is threating to file for bankruptsy.(If my ex does file is there a way i can still sue here for the money?)The creditor told me it is a loan that she can file on and that i am responsible for the loan since i am the cosigner.(Is there a way out of the loan that would not included the option of bankruptsy or anything related to it?)I already am needing to take here to small claims court for past due daycare support that she owes and other bills that are past due,on top of her bills and mine i still need to support the two children that i am raising.I need a way to sue her and get the money for the loan that she took out. Please respond as soon as possible if you need more info please let me know so i can provide it. I have the creditor sending the contract to me, and will be calling the school she attended for her records.thank you sincerely brett.
