What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

I'm sorry in advance if my question seems stupid I just want to cover myself.

My school custodial unit has an upcoming vote on a contract proposal. The proposal is beyond bad it’s embarrassing. I have typed up a flyer with reasons why I feel the membership should vote no. I do not want to bring them to the workplace which I know I would need permission for but rather mail them the members homes. Is this in any way something I could get in trouble for? I do want to point out I am not on the union board only a member of the unit.
