Anyone can cancel a contract. The question is how much damages they'll pay. If MO followed the cancellation terms, their liability is limited to what's provided in the contract. If they didn't, you can sue them for the entire contract amount - expenses you haven't incurred because of early termination. This assumes that you weren't in breach or that cancellation was not a remedy for the type of breach you committed.
