Contract wages not paid

What is the name of your state? California
My husband was on a written contract agreement which confirmed payment in 6 weeks after the month end. The contractor never paid in time. The last month of the contract got over in August and payment due during 2nd week of October. My husband has still not received the payment and neither his emails nor his telephone calls replied. Is there any place I can complain about this person and get the money.

You can try calling the state Department of Labor. However, if your husband was an independent contractor, you may end up having to sue him for it, since in many states the DOL can't help with contract issues.
