contractor billings

My Insurance Co. paid for damages to my home
due to hail/wind. I signed a contract with
a contractor to do the repairs. Can I ask the
contractor to see his sub-contractor billings
to verfied what is actually charged on work
done. My contractor only shows billings on his company letterhead. He refuses to show
actual billings. What can I do?

what is the difference? You entered into a contract and are paying a certain rate. No matter what the contractor's profit, you still have to pay him the contract rate.
