Contractor help PLEASE

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida
I had a bad roofing job, & I asked contractors to leaVE.It was a joint contract with roof & solar to be done. I paid for the solar materials & now that the roof hasn't been done correctly the solar company wants to pick up all the materials for another job, & bring me a contract stating he picked up supplies & will replace them. Should I do that?

If you paid for the materials DO NOT let someone pick them up...but do hurry up and get someone to finish the roof so that they can be installed.
