My partner and I are in desperate need of real estate law advice. Approximately 1 year ago, We entered into a contract to buy land contengient upon the landowner developing the road to the lot . The land owner agreed and signed the contract. As of this time, the owner has not yet built the road to the lot which is now valued at approx $40,000 more; and, I believe he is stalling hoping that we would get out of the contract. What are our legal options? Do we have any legal power to force him to build the road If we do not wish to terminate the contract?
