I have recently been served with a small claims lawsuit in Los Angeles county. (breach of contract- they didn't perform. I fired them. They now want all money due from the original contract. I paid someone else tripple to complete contract in time.). How do I file and serve the plaintiff so I can have that and my countersuit heard in civil court? The amount is $25,000 or less.
