if someone you know is convicted of having sex with a minor, he goes to jail and when he is let out he wonts to move, is their a state in which he can move and not have to register with the police? Does this person have any rights? What happens if the person does not regester with the police? this is, he says his first time affence. e-mail form texas

Yes he would have to register and he could face harsher sentencing if he doesn't register.

That's funny !

If YOU don't know the name of the State, and HE doesn't know the name of the State, how's he going to know where to move - - unless you tell him where to move ? Of course you want us to tell you, so that you and he can move there, together !

And besides, assuming you're "on the level" with your post, YOU can't stop anyone from moving. Only his Parole Officer can keep him from moving.

(P.S. There is no such State. All States require registration)

thank you for your response. But i dont wish to go any where with this person. it was my child, i wish for this person to be in jail for life. he is a family memmber. i felt dumb after what he did to my child. now you have made feel even dumber for asking the qustion. our family is tourn apart and only certion things will the family let me know. that is why i was asking because he will be getting out soon. and i dont wont him to have any rest.
