Can I capture images from a live webcam feed that is coming from a person broadcasting from an online chat room. This webcam feed is being broadcast to about 200 people and is " Not " being recorded by the person broadcasting it. It is my understanding that under copyright law, this broadcast is not protected under copyright laws because it is not being recorded, thus it is not being " Fixed In A Tangible Medium". The live webcam feed is only " Transitory " thus it is not protected under copyright laws. Therefore I can capture these images on my computer. Once I capture these images , these images are considered to be fixed onto a tangible medium, my computer disk, therefore I now hold the copyright to these images that I captured. Can you please tell me if I'm correct. Can you tell be if I am violating anycopy rights. Thanks,
Don
