What is the name of your state? MA

Years ago our band, which I will call Bandzero, manufactured a CD of public domain blues material. On the CD was the copyright notice "Copyright 1996 by Bandzero", which was to protect the sound recording. The group had 6 partners (including myself) without any written partnership agreement.

Since that time the other five members have left the group. Four just went their merry way on to other things. The fifth sent me a letter separating herself from the group. And since that time, a copyright registration has been filed and secured with the Library of Congress, by what is still known as Bandzero.

The question is, who owns the copyright? The current band known as Bandzero or the 6 individuals who were part of Bandzero at the time the CD was recorded?
