I'm in Maryland.

So, I want to host a college radio show at my school that airs old time radio programs like Dragnet etc.. If Dragnet and the other shows I'm interested in are in the public domain is there anything else I have to do to air them without breaking any laws?

It this is a stupid question, let me know.

Thanks!

no, asking a question so you don't get sued for tons of money is never a stupid question.

but you need to be cautious and be certain of what is and isn't in the public domain. here is a link that explains what and what isn't covered. If you notice, there are a lot of possibilities, especially in the era of programming you are speaking of.
