What is the name of your state? Indiana

I work for a TV station and want to create a commercial spoof off of an old TV show. Can I use part of that old show's name in the commercial?

If the "spoof" qualifies a "parody," then you have pretty broad latitude in what you can and can't use. Does your TV station have a lawyer (or a lawyer on retainer) that could advise you? Basically, if the "spoof" is poking fun at the original show, it's probably okay -- but again, you'll want to talk with a lawyer who can review ALL of the facts to make sure.
