We're thinking of using "Hawaii Women's Yellow Pages" for a directory we're compiling; is the term 'yellow pages' copyrighted? I can't find anything
that says that particular term is copyrighted - logos, particular names, yes. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Start with the copyright office. They should be able to tell you. The content in the yellow pages are copyrighted -->format, layout, etc.

Now, as far as the name yellow pages, names are not copyrightable.
