Question: I'm thinking of starting my own business in which I would need to copy works of music & place them onto a "home video" type setting. How do I go about requesting the artists approval, and how much money is it going to cost me? Thanks so much!!

Either BMI or ASCAP control almost all music in the world. Both have the info you need.
