What is the name of your state?Va, I filed for full custody because my ex-wife's boyfriend was busted for drug distribution in the home my son lives in. Yes, he was dealing drugs out of the home my son lives in.He was eventually sent to prison, but was not found guilty until after the judge made his decision on my case. He awarded me 1 month during the summer 1 weekend a month, and 1 week at christmas. The judge also ordered that My ex-wife's boyfriend is to have no contact at all, with my son. He is now out of prison and my ex-wife and him both own the home she lives in. She says that he doesn't stay there ,but my son has told me otherwise. Also it turns out that the attorney at lightem helped my ex-wife close on her house. This was before the custody battle had even began. Is this not a conflict of interest? Especially since the attorney at lightem recomended that it would be in my child's best interest that his mother have full custody. Where is the justice in this???

I would certainly be talking to a lawyer about a conflict of interest on the part of the Guardian Ad Litem.

As for the b/f being at the house - you probably want more proof than your son's word. You really don't want to drag the kid up in front of the judge, do you?

The boyfriend was found not guilty- so that means legally he was proven innocent of the charge(s). Your X may be able to petition to have the restriction lifted based on that.

Va... The boyfriend was found guilty of a felony. My ex-wife says that she is going to petition the court. Her reasons are that he has done his time and is now rehabilitated. Can she petion the court and have this court order over turned without me being notified she is doing so?

She can petition, but that doesn't mean she'll get what she wants. If anything changes re; your visitation order- you'll be given notice of a hearing and be able to appear.
