What is the name of your state? Florida

If the person for whom the loan was for is working and completed school why can't their wages be garnished? Is it easier to go directly to the cosign? To me, what is the difference going to one or the other if both work. There is a source of money to be tapped into either way.

Also, what repercussions are their on the original person who took out the long, but did not pay?

From what I have read on this forum a cosign has NO re-course but to pay off a loan they cosigned for if the indiviual for the loan refuses . You could sue but there is no guarantee you would receive any compensation. Is this true?

If I did sue how would I get my money?

I am new to something like this so I welcome any suggestions or insight.
