Costs to Defend

Living in Maine I was compelled to appear in a Maryland District Court to defend myself in a lawsuit. I defended and won. How do I get the court to order the Plaintiff to repay my expenses to travel, etc. to MD. ?? Thank You.

Were you awarded those expenses in the judgment??? If not, then you will have to sue the original plaintiff to try to recover those expenses.
If so, then you will have to use the appropriate state laws to attempt to enforce your judgment.
