What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MO

So if I get on my website and tell the whole world about how my former employer screwed me over, made me work 80 hours a week like a slave, with only 2 days off a year, and breached his contract with me, resulting in the foreclosure of my home and complete financial ruin, every word of it true, would he have a case against me for libel? What if I tell some of the new employees about my experience? Could he sue me for that?

"Worked me like a slave". Is that really true? Did your employer whip you? Sell your children?

How about the breach of contract? Did the employer actually breach the contract? According to whom? If you have a judgment against the former employer for breach of contract, that's probably good evidence that the employer breached.

Remember: Truth is an affirmative defense against a defamation suit. That means you may still end up in court and paying a lawyer.
