What is the name of your state? CA

I was thinking about this the other day, and I'm not sure if it will ever be looked into or if I've even done anything wrong but thought I would ask.

Here we go.

In 1993 I got married and filed a married joint filing. In 94, we separated (he became physically abusive) and I filed single/head of household (with one child - not his) because I didn't have the information I needed to file a joint return, i.e. social security number, previous years tax forms, etc. and he would not supply it to me. He didn't file at all. He died in 95 and I again filed single/head of household for the same reason. His only income for 95 was SSI - which his mother got the checks and paid his bills. (He had a stroke and was unable to take care of himself and so he moved in with his mother)

Being a widow at 22 was difficult enough and now that I'm older I'm thinking that a may need to file an amendment?

Anyone know?

The only problem year might be 94. Since the IRS considers 94 closed, there's no need to file an amendment.
