rivka is being taken to small claims court in nj.
I am counterclaiming the suit.
Question # 1:
can I claim lost wages for having to take the day to appear for this frivolous suit?

Question #2:
what holds more weight: Settlement agreement on a house on what stays and what the owner is taking OR
lease agreement that we had them sign as sellers lived in our new house after settlement for two months as their house was being completed?
Reason: Settlement says they were taking a pool cover. They didn't. Then called 7 mths after sale and said they want it. We said, fine take it after you pay us for a broken in home alarm system that they told us worked. Our lease agreement with them stated that: everything must be in godd working order and that whatever was left in the house once the rental was over was the property of the new owners-us.
What do you think our chances are?
