What is the name of your state? CA

Ok here is the situation. Pulled over took breath test. Over .01 for under 21. Issued at cvc 23140 rather than a DUI. Went to court. Went to DMV to look at drivers record. No CVC 23140 shows up but rather 132025 VC. Which to my understanding is 13202.5.

Here is where things get interesting. I went to court and ask for a restricted license at first the judge wouldnt give it to me because i was under 21, but I told him that the 23140 was dropped from the previous hearing and that the 30 AA meetings dismissed my MIP charge. Therefore there was no alcohol related charges against me. I guess he agreed and granted me the restricted license and told me to talk to DMV. I believe he granted me the restricted just so i can get out of his court room and stop taking his time because I cant get one at DMV because of zero tolerance.

I called DMV to see if I can get a restricted and the guy began to start me towards my restricted license when he found out i was underage. It turns out that sacramento decided to list me as an adult. That is why DMV started to issue my DL. I wasnt thinking because I was feel rushed talking to DMV folk and i forgot to ask what charge they have showing.

Now my questions are (if you all would be so kind to answer again please):

What exactly is CVC 23140 (infraction)? What kind of charges does it carry?

What is 132025 VC (13202.5 VC)?

Why does CVC 23140 change to 132025 VC when transferring records to DMV?

How is it that I am listed as an adult DUI (or thats what I think it is because i forgot to ask), BUT a CVC 23140 IS considered an action for minors only??

What are the possible PROS and CONS of this situation?

The only PRO I can think of is I would be able to get a restricted license If the DMV guy never checked my age.
