Help!!! I wrote previously that my husband is trying to get his court papers modified. We live in MS. His attorney called yesterday and said that his ex-wife has no problem with him, it's me she has a problem with. She said that because when I got my divorce 3 years ago, and I got custody of my daughter and my ex got custody of my sons I am an unfit mother and should not be near her daughter. She has never complained before. My husband and I have been
married 2 years. I don't drink,smoke,curse,run around naked or have sex in front of this child. I am just stunned that she would even consider saying this about me.
What real harm can she do?

This is why people should stick to the same thread as I had to waste time looking over your other post to understand your question.

Your husbands request is not unreasonable and she seems to have nothing on you. He should continue on and it is a decent bet that he will be award the extra visitation. Please come back on the 16th and let us know.

Thanks Legal Beagle. I did try to find my original thread but I am new to this area and couldn't find it. It just upsets me to have her say something like that about me. I mean, she has THANKED ME in the past for being so good to my
step-daughter. Now, all of a sudden, I'm not fit to be around her? I will definitely let you know how it turns out. My husband thinks she is just trying to intimidate us and make us drop the issue. She underestimates how very much he loves his child. Again, thanks for going to the trouble to answer my question. I feel better now.

As for JYoung, I'm not sure what your reply means. I don't live in Missouri either. That abbreviation is MO.
