In NY. My husband has a family court date quickly approaching over visitation with child from previous marriage. Court ordered therapeutic visitation for him and child, child alone and him and x. Law Guardian said it would only take 8-10 sessions in order for them to determine why child doesn't want to go with dad.

Well, it's beyond 10 sessions and therapist thinks there should be visitation between the two but feels it needs more therapy. Husband has to pay for visits and can't afford to anymore. What recourse does he have in court? All he wants is to see his son. He's current on child support and never missed a payment. Can he ask judge for ex and he to split costs? Can he just tell judge he can't afford therapy and that he just wants to see his son? He doesn't want to be stuck in a therapists possible money-making scheme. And doesn't want to have to PAY to see his son, when he has rights to visitation. Help?!
