What is the name of your state? Texas

I'm 20 years old, and I was arrested in September, for Misdemeanor B theft. (Target)
I'm not completely sure of the amount, but I think it
was about $79.00. This is my first (and last) offense,
and I was wondering if anyone would be able to shed some light on what my sentencing may be?
I haben't been in any kind of trouble before this.

Thank you for your time.

If you are completely remorseful and repay Target, you could get only probation or probation and a suspended sentence.

I suggest paying target back, prior to court.

thanks

Texas

Would I get a money order and mail it? Not sure how to go about paying them back.
They said if I go back onto their property, I'll be arrested on the spot, and taken to jail for tresspassing. I don't want to get into anymore trouble than I'm, already in.

What's a suspended sentence?

Did the store get back the stolen merchandise? If not, send a money order to the Target store and include a copy of the police case #. Add an "I'm sorry" note. Keep a copy for court.

A suspended sentence is when you are sentenced to say....30 days is jail and the judge shows mercy on you. You will not actually have to serve the jail sentence unless you violate "any" term of your probation.

Stay put

Don't go back to Target. Record clean prior to this, you'll get deferred adjudication and nice court fine.
