1999, I filed bankruptcy was going to reaffirm car loan
and continue to pay. The judge however decided to deny
the car loan company the reaffirmation. However they let us keep the car.
We have made the payments since- except one month
we had a problem and contacted the co. and made arrangements to pay the payments. We were current.
It was delayed in the mail I guess and without warning they came
to our place of work and reposessed the car. The reason they
gave us later was, "It was not reaffirmed so our atty. told us to pick up the car"
The car was sold at an auction now they want me to pay the difference
Wasn't this discharged? Are they allowed to write me threating
letters and call me with rude threating on the phone? Isn't this illegal? If so get me a lawyer. They did not give me any slack, I paid every month since 1999 and last month they nabbed my car without warning. please help if you can
